After another bad day after short sleep, I decided to do something different today. My head is heavy and dizzy in the day time, but could not fall asleep, memory gets worse, body feels stiff. I need a change.
My adopted method is physical+medical this time.
I am not used to have exercise regularly. As a starter, I will have some mild workout in the park nearby for about 15 mins.
I ran around the park barefooted for one circle and then lift my leg in turns while I walked forward along the path. This exercise stretches my muscles on whole body especially on my back and legs.
Afterwards, I returned and took an Epsom Salt Bath in my bath tub. Epsom salts have been used for hundreds of years to ease all kinds of aches, pains, and skin troubles. What’s more, it induces a drowsy feeling in people after bath, and could help me to fall into sleep quicke.
Then the last try of the day is the herbal capsules G’nite that I bought from 7-11 convenient store. They are easily accessible and cost very litte. Herbal medicin makes me feel safer and are not addictive. (It may not be true though, but anyway in Thailand, I can not simply go into a pharmacy and buy “Sleeping Pills/Sedatives” over the counter.) The ingrediants of the capsules are chamomile, reishi mushroom extra and L-Theanine. There are 2 blue capsules in one bag. I took them all 2 hours before sleep.
I went to bed around 12:15am and fell into sleep quickly, the next day I woke up at 8am. This combined method seems work for me!
But I donot feel refreshed when I wake up and cannot continue the sleep after I wake. There is still long way to improve…
